Position Overview:

SEVCA seeks a strategic, compassionate, and compliance-focused Human Resources Director to oversee all HR operations. The HR Director will align HR initiatives with organizational goals, drive talent management, ensure compliance with employment laws, and foster a healthy, inclusive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior leadership on staffing, recruiting, retention, compensation, benefits, and health and safety strategies.
• Oversee HR programs related to compensation, benefits, employee wellness, training, and performance management.
• Lead recruitment efforts, develop talent management protocols, and coordinate job postings.
• Conduct analysis of organizational trends and ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Review and modify policies to maintain compliance and align with best practices.

SEVCA Head Start is currently seeking a dedicated, passionate, and enthusiastic individual who is looking to support early learners, ages 3-5 years in a high quality, comprehensive, and supportive environment.

Position Overview:

Are you passionate about helping others and ready to be part of a team that creates real change in the lives of individuals and families? Southeastern Vermont Community Action (SEVCA) is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Crisis Fuel Workers to join our team in multiple offices. 

As a Crisis Fuel Worker, you will be on the front lines of supporting low-income individuals and families, primarily providing assistance with emergency heating and electric needs and work in collaboration with the Family Services team. In addition, they will provide direct client services under emergency and non-emergency circumstances, information and referral, and advocacy to low-income clients.

• Computer literacy and comfort with managing client information using digital tools

The ideal candidate will have construction and/or building science knowledge, dependability, and problem-solving skills. Construction & insulating experience preferred but not required.
